Samba Show at Plataforma

Come and enjoy the greatest and the most famous spectacle of the authentic Brazilian folklore!

Thirty beautiful "mulata-dancers" together with a competent male cast take a culture journey on the popular Brazilian music. It all started when the Portuguese settlers couldn't impose their habits, religion or slavery on the natives that used to live free on shores and rainforests of their land. The only way found by the settlers was to bring African for labor, which besides the workforce brought also their culture.

It was the mixture of these three races, Portuguese, natives and African, that molded the Brazilian people and produced the essence of the popular culture of this country. And this is shown in our great stage full of lights, songs and dances, luxury and a flaring beauty, in an unforgettable show called VAI BRASIL 500 ANOS.

With the inclusion of percussion instruments, the samba was created. Today, it's an exportation product that the world learned to admire. And so goes the spectacle, telling the poetic history of evolution of the Brazilian popular musical culture.

The grand finale, with a parade of rich costumes with the colors of the Brazilian flag: green (the bushes and forests), yellow (the gold and the wealth of the country, blue (the sky and the constellation of the Southern Cross) and the white (peace) emphasizing some important personalities of the Brazilian History.
